Augusta “Gussie” F. Herget was born on November 16, 1915 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of John H. and Henrietta (Kellermann) Buehn. She died on July 30, 2008 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO having reached the age of 92 years, 8 months, and 14 days.
She is survived by two sons, John “Andy” (Louise) Herget, Jr. of Hillsboro, MO and Henry “Hank” Herget of De Soto, MO; two grandchildren, Jerry Wayne (Beverly) Herget and Carla (Allen) McKay; four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; one brother Ervin “Bud” (Louise) Buehn of Sedalia, MO; and two sisters, Lucille Vaughn of St. Louis, MO and Loretta (Ray) Riggs of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Andrew Herget, Sr.; and one brother, John “Boots” Buehn.
