Andy was a sweet guy who never asked for much, which is part of the reason we loved doing things for him. We always enjoyed having him around, and I believe he enjoyed his time with his sister and his nieces and nephews. He is lost to us way too soon and will be missed every day. We love you Andy, may you rest in peace.

My Uncle Andy was a free spirit. He touched a lot of hearts in his short life. Spending minutes with Andy would give you a feeling that you knew him for a lifetime. He didn't judge people and was a kind soul. He was a simple man as personal belongings were not of much importance to him. Family was everything to Andy- he loved his family, protected them and we returned those feelings by loving him unconditionally. He never looked before he leaped and lived his life on the edge of his seat-never scared to fall off because he always brushed himself off and kept going. He held his head proud and never gave up on anything no matter how hard the fight. In the later years of his life he decided that he wanted God in his life and realized from the moment he was baptized at the age of 45 that his decision to have faith in God was the best decision he ever made. The free spirit and his Maker came full circle. Uncle Andy accepted God and less than a year later, God accepted him into his heavenly home. There is no doubt that he is already dancing with angels and touching hearts in heaven the same way he did on earth.

Andy, it is so hard to believe that you are gone. There are so many things about you that I will miss. Most of all, I will miss your happiness and your laugh. I will never forget your laugh. No matter how bad things could get you would just say "you know me, I'll be okay" and just laugh. The love you had for all of us will never be forgotten. As a matter of fact it will be what gets us through this. You were a great brother and Uncle. You were also a very loving son that cared deeply for mom and she knows it and she misses you terribly. Don't worry, we will take good care of her. We will all meet again in heaven someday. Until then watch over us and protect us. I love you. Your Sister, Mary Ann

I was so shocked to read about the passing of AJ in the Leader. He was always such a good friend and sweet man. He loved life and laughter. I will truly miss him. The world lost a awesome man when GOD called him home. My prayers are with your family at this very melancholy time.
