Alvin T. Bourbon, Sr. was born June 18, 1936 in Bliss, MO. He was the son of Ira Bernard and Mary Louise (nee Sampson) Bourbon. He died on October 29, 2015 at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation in Herculaneum, MO at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his daughter, Glenda (John) Guenther, De Soto, MO and one son, Alvin T. (Lynn) Bourbon, Jr., Granite City, IL; six grandchildren, Angie, Anita, Austin, Nathan, April, and Ron; eleven great-grandchildren, and former wife & mother of his children, Bernice Hertweck. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Glennon Bourbon. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 20 Glory Place, Belleville, IL 62226.
