Aloise V. Leible was born in rural De Soto on Sept. 29, 1917, a daughter to Matt and Ruth (nee Turley) Nussbaumer.  She died Feb. 19, 2011, at Baisch Nursing Center at the age of 93.  She is survived by her daughter Carol (John) Cotner, De Soto; grandchildren: Ruth Ann (Stephen) Thompson, Florissant, John Matt, (Michele) Cotner, De Soto, Dina (Tom Cope) Medley, Affton; great- grandchildren Jordon, Taylor Ann, Matt (Dawn), Michael, Brandon, Ryan, and Richie; and great-great-grandchildren William and Anna.  She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest W. Leible to whom she was married for 71 years before his passing in October of 2009; eleven sisters: Afton Nussbaumer, Effie Young, Elizabeth Nussbaumer, Freda Sweet, Emma Nichting, Grace Perotti, Neva Hamm, Rose Smith, Rosie Nussbaumer, Alverta McDuffie, and Myrtle Lada; one brother Cecil Nussbaumer; and a granddaughter Becki Cotner.  Father Alex Anderson will officiate the funeral mass with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in De Soto.
