Alma Marie Bishop was born December 21, 1940 in Kewanee, MO. She was the daughter of William L. and Eunice (nee Evans) Jenkins. She passed on November 18, 2020 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her children, Katheryn (David) Higgins, Pompano Beach, FL; Karen (the late Bill) Fromme, Paragould, AR; Billy (Yvonne) Leach, Bonne Terre, MO; grandchildren, Melanie (Roland Steen) Higgins; William Higgins; Rebecca (Mike Simon) Fromme; Raymond (Val Petro) Fromme; and Jordan (Alexis Lige) Leach; great-grandchildren, Roman and Baron; siblings, David, Gary, Peggy, Judy, Janet, Maxine, and Brenda. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Nelda, Robert, Ruth, Josephine, and Elton. Marie was a life member of VFW Auxiliary Post 7710, New Athens, IL; she was also a member of the De Soto Christian Church. She worked in medical claims for General American Life Ins. Company; she loved to travel and was an avid quilter.
