Allen A. Luebbers was born on December 10, 1922 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Mathew & Justine (nee Schlett) Luebbers. He died on August 27, 2011 at the age of 88 at his home in Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
Bernette A “Bert” Luebbers was born on July 28, 1927 in Bonne Terre, MO. She was the daughter of Lex & Louise (nee Koester) Cash. She died on June 19, 2020 at her home at the age of 92.
Allen retired from PPG Industries and was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Force. Bert was a devout catholic who loved to bowl and play bingo. She also loved spending time with her family.
Allen and Bert are survived by their children, Allen D. (Terry) Luebbers of Bonne Terre, MO; Stephen P. (Alice) Luebbers of Potosi, MO; Harold E. Luebbers of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; Gerard (Jennifer) Luebbers of Gardners, PA; Mary L. (John) Jones of Webster Groves, MO; Theresa (Randy) Barbour of Gardners, PA; and Scott (Trudy) Luebbers of Carlisle, PA; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Allen was survived by his brother Paul Luebbers, and preceded in death by three brothers, and two sisters including his twin.
Bert was survived by her brothers, David, Carl, and Sam Cash; and sisters, Joanna Charleville, Lexa Hisey, and Bonnie Barron; and was preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Cash.
