Albert L. “Pappy” Craig was born April 1, 1941 in Valles Mines, MO. He was the son of Archie and Daisy G. (nee Kobel) Craig. He passed on June 29, 2018 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Washburn) Craig, De Soto. Albert and Barbara were married on September 2, 1961 in Valles Mines. Also survivng is one son, Paul Lee (Kim) Craig, Danville, KY; one sister, Cathy (Roger) Jarvis, Park Hills, MO; five grandchildren: Mike (Heather), Eric (Jessica), Kyle, Andrew, and Emily; and four great-grandchildren: Ethan, Alex, Matthew, and Abigail. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd Craig, Roy Craig, and Ralph Craig; one sister, Grace Wyley. Albert was a retired forklift operator for Doe Run and was a member of Teamsters Local #688. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the De Soto Food Pantry, P.O. Box 552, De Soto, MO 63020 or Mercy Hospital Jefferson Hospice, #5 Industrial Drive, Festus, 63028. Chaplain Cody Alley will officiate the funeral service.
