Virginia Ruth Ladd was born February 18, 1929 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Horace Walker and Edith (nee Farley) Ames. She passed on February 1, 2017 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her children, Kathy Daugherty, Blue Springs, MO; John (Ann) Ladd, Sr., Old Mines, MO; and David (Stephanie) Ladd, Blue Springs, MO; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Burton A. Ladd; one daughter, Cindi Graham; and siblings, Joseph L. Ames, Mildred Winemiller, and Mary Lou Rouse.
