Vernon Richard Miller was born February 20, 1928 in Glover, MO. He was the son of Ed and Alice (nee McMannuss) Miller. He passed on June 14, 2017 at The Villas in De Soto, MO at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Louise (nee Wiegand) Miller, De Soto, MO; two daughters, Melanie (Jeff) Le Baron, Indianapolis, IN; Marney (Jeffrey) Mayo, Atlanta, GA; one son, Milvern Miller, Portland, OR; two grandchildren, Theresa and Steven Mayo. He is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Vernon served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a speech therapist at public schools in De Soto, MO Redbud, IL, San Bernardino, CA, and Arkansas City, KS.
