Rev. Larry Morton Young was born April 6, 1955 in Pasadena, CA. He was the son of Ray and Helen (nee Ullom) Young. He passed on June 10, 2017 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his wife, Debra Gail (nee Smith) Fortner-Young, De Soto, MO; two sons, Jacob (Josie) Young, Mineral Point, MO; and James (fiance, Heather Scoggin) Young, De Soto, MO; brothers, Edward Young, San Bernadino, CA; and Arthur Young, Walnut, CA; one granddaughter, Cheyla Paige Young; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorna Fay Smith and Delbert Dale Smith; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jackelyn Young, and one son, Micheal Young; one grandson, Ezekiel Young; and one granddaughter, Bennett Young. Rev. Larry was a Missionary, Evangelist, and Pastor of three churches. He missioned in Mexico and Philippines. He was a full time Evangelist all across the U.S. for over 40 years.
