James LeRoy Davis, Jr. was born September 2, 1946 in Old Mines, MO. He was the son of James LeRoy Sr. and Mary “Ethel” (nee Coleman) Davis. He passed on December 31, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his companion, Sylvia Null Blake, De Soto, MO; his children, Dianna (Tim) Merseal, Cadet, MO; Randy (Kelly) Davis, Blackwell, MO; and Paula (Ted) Baumer, Bonne Terre, MO; eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cheryl (Ed) Belt, Old Mines, MO; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Davis, De Soto, MO; brothers-in-law, Elridge Brown, Bonne Terre, MO and Glen Guenther, Fletcher, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Rebecca Pruitt, Patrick E. Davis, Sr., Leroy (Leola) Davis; Sam Davis; Dennis Davis; Jeanette Guenther; Beverly (Benny) Kitchell; and Joan Brown. James was Past Commander of AmVets Post #48.
